Celtic end Rangers unbeaten run
Furuhashi's stunning strike secures victory
Rangers' 11-match unbeaten league run came to an end on Sunday as Celtic moved eight points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership with a 2-1 victory.
Kyogo Furuhashi scored a stunning goal to give Celtic the lead in the 20th minute, and Liel Abada doubled the advantage just before half-time. Rangers pulled one back through Connor Goldson in the second half, but they were unable to find an equaliser. The win was Celtic's first Old Firm victory since March 2020, and it moved them eight points ahead of Rangers at the top of the table. Rangers have a game in hand, but Celtic are now the clear favourites to win the title.
